Gotu kola

Origin and Appearance
Gotu Kola is a small perennial plant that grows in tropical and subtropical regions of South Asia and Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its half-moon-shaped leaves and thin stems that creep along the ground. Gotu Kola's leaves are bright green and resemble small water lilies, earning it the nickname "tiger plant," as tigers are said to love to wallow on the spots where it grows to heal their wounds.

Traditional Use
Gotu Kola has a long history of use in traditional systems of medicine such as Ayurveda in India, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Javanese Medicine. In these traditions, it is often considered an adaptogen, meaning it can help the body adapt to stress and restore balance.

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha roots contain various alkaloids such as anaferine, anahygrine, cuscohygrine, nicotine, tropine and withasomnine. They also contain withanolides such as somniferanolide, somniwithanolide, withaferin A and withasomniferanolide.
High quality Ashwagandha extracts are standardized to contain at least 2.5% withanolides. By specifying the withanolidene content, the different food supplements on the market can be compared with each other. If this ingredient information is missing for a product, a low active ingredient content can be assumed.

Krishna tulsi

Krishna Tulsi , also known as Black Tulsi or Ocimum sanctum, is a particularly revered variety of Tulsi, a sacred plant that has held a special place in Indian culture and spirituality for centuries. This variety is characterized by its dark purple leaves and distinctive aroma, and it is often associated with special qualities in Ayurveda and other Indian healing traditions.

In traditional Indian medicine, Ayurveda, Krishna Tulsi is celebrated for its many beneficial health properties. It is considered an adaptogen, meaning it can help the body adapt to stress and maintain balance.
